The Samsung Galaxy S III Mini ( GT-I8190 ) is a screen-based, slate-sized smartphone designed and manufactured by Samsung. It was announced in October 2012 and released in November 2012. Galaxy SÃ, IIIÃ,î Mini Specification includes 4-inch Super AMOLED display, dual-core processor running on 1 GHz with 1 GB RAM, 5 megapixel rear camera, and VGA camera facing forward for video call or selfie.
Samsung Galaxy SÃ, IIIÃ, Mini is a smaller version of Samsung Galaxy SÃ, III and contains many of the same features. However, it does not have an 8 megapixel rear camera, a larger 4.8-inch screen and a Gorilla Glass screen. This device has a 42 hour endurance rating. The device originally runs on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) but has now been updated to 4.1.2. Other features include Samsung TouchWiz Skin, ChatON instant messaging, Smart alerts, Buddy Photo Share, Pop-Up Play, S Suggest, S Voice, Smart Stay, Video Hubs, Game Hub 2.0, and Beam S (SÃ, Beam only available in special edition NFC, GT-I8190N). The battery of this device varies from different operators, it will have a widely used 3-pin battery and is sold or will have a 4-pin battery.

An alternative 'upgrade' version of Galaxy SÃ, IIIÃ, Mini (SM-G730A) is available from US AT & amp; T, featuring different processors (Qualcomm 1.2-GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400), NFC, 2000 mAh battery, and 4G LTE data rates, among other differences. It retains the same 4-inch (800 Ã- 480 pixels), Super AMOLED screen as the original 'S' III 'international' Galaxy. On June 6, 2014, the AT & amp; T shows a delivery version of the phone with Android 4.4 KitKat installed. On September 23, 2015, an update has been released, but it is not known if it does anything.
In March 2014, another variant of this device (GT-I8200) was released in several countries, with the GT-I8200N model featuring NFC and GT-I8200L models in Latin America. This variant features a different SoC (Marvell PXA986, dual-core) clocked at 1.2 GHz, with GPU Vivante GC1000, the specification is used in Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 as well. The GT-I8200/N/L variants are shipped with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, unlike the older GT-I8190 variants shipped with 4.1.1.

The successor of Galaxy SÃ, IIIÃ, Mini is Galaxy S4Ã, Mini. It was announced on May 30, 2013, and then released in July 2013.
