Michael Lawrence Tyler (born September 22, 1970), known professionally as Mystikal , is a rapper and American actor from New Orleans, Louisiana.

The Mystical Family moved to New Orleans when he was young. His father, who runs a small neighborhood store, died when he was seven years old. Because of the Posse 3-9 association, he was invited to be one of the local acts opened for Run-D.M.C. and Doug E. Fresh at an outdoor concert at Theme Center. The songs "Dedicated To Michelle Tyler", "Murder" (both on Mind of Mystical), "Murder 2", "Shine" (both in Unpredictable) and " Murder III "(on Let's Get Ready ) refers to his murder. 1995-98: Mystical Thoughts and running No Limit Records

Mystikal held a concert at the Mahalia Jackson Theater of Performing Arts at Mardi Gras, February 16, 2010. The first Mystical song after being released from prison is an underground song with former No Limit labelmate Fiend titled "I Do not Like You". Sex Sexual battery punishment and other legal issues
On June 26, 2003, Mystikal pleaded guilty to battery and sexual blackmail. On January 15, 2004, Mystikal was sentenced to six years in state prison after pleading guilty for forcing her hairdressers to perform sex acts. Rapper and two bodyguards forced the woman to perform oral sex, and accused her of stealing $ 80,000 in checks. As part of a plea bargain, all three plead guilty. Mystikal initially claimed that the incident was consensual, but the incident video footage was later found at his home shortly after the allegations were made. Negotiations during the trial held videotapes of being included as evidence and Mystical agreed to bargain the defense offered by the prosecutor, evading the mandatory life sentence for sexual batteries in Louisiana and expecting to receive probation. On January 12, 2006, he was convicted in federal court for tax breaches. , but was allowed to serve a one-year federal sentence along with his six-year state sentence.
