Jordan Terrell Carter (born September 13, 1996), better known by his stage name Playboi Carti , is an American rapper and model from Atlanta, Georgia. Previously signed a contract with an Atlanta-based underground label Awful Records, he is currently signed to A $ AP Mob's AWGE Label and Interscope Records. Mixtape's eponymous debut was released on April 14, 2017, and its debut album Die Lit was released on May 11, 2018.

Legal issues

In July 2017, Carter was arrested for alleged domestic abuse after arguing with his girlfriend outside Los Angeles International Airport and then arresting him with his rucksack and pulling him out of the terminal. In August 2017, it was announced that Carter would not face allegations of abuse of the household.
