Canon EOS 1200D is an 18.1 megapixel single digital single lens (DSLR) camera announced by Canon on February 11, 2014. It's known as EOS Kiss X70 in Japan and EOS Rebel T5 in America. 1200D is an entry-level DSLR that introduces 18 MP sensor from HD video 700D and 1080p to Canon entry level DSLR. It replaces the 1100D.
Canon announced in March 2016 that the 1200D was replaced by the 1300D/Rebel T6.
