Battery Park City Ferry Terminal provides slips to ferries, water taxis, and boat excursions in New York and New Jersey Ports. The floating dock is located on the Hudson River and is moored at the foot of Vesey Street at Hudson River Park in Battery Park City, Manhattan.
There are four loading arcs and two loading sides slipping in the terminal. The regular ferry service between Manhattan and Jersey today goes back to at least 1661 with the establishment of the Communipaw ferry during the Dutch colonial period in New Amsterdam and the Jersey City Ferry in July 1764 operated from Paul Hook to the Mesier pier located at the foot of Courtland Street. Services
NY Waterway and Liberty Water Taxi operate the service to the terminal. Goldman Sachs collects two ferries between his offices on both sides of the river, used by both employees and non-employees. SeaStreak operates a rush hour shuttle service to Pier 11/Wall Street to connect services to Raritan Bayshore.
