Toyota cut Sienta off the lineup in Autumn 2010 because of her age, though it still sells quite well. It was reintroduced unchanged (except for the renamed trim level and new sports model, Sienta DICE, with different designs) in May 2011.
Sienta is commonly used in Kenya as a PSV car. The car is referred to as "Shorio" by Kamakwa residents of the fertile Hills in Nyeri, Kenya.
