Acer Aspire (styled as spire or ? SPIRE ) is a series of personal computers by Acer Inc. which is intended for ordinary household users. The Aspire series includes desktop and laptop computers. Acer developed this series from the important to the high performance. Aspire mainly competes with computers such as Asus' Transformer Book Flip, VivoBook and Zenbook, Dell Inspiron and XPS, HP's Pavilion and Envy, Lenovo IdeaPad and Toshiba's Satellite.
The Aspire series was first brought to the market in 1999 when Aspire 1151 was introduced and features an Intel Pentium 200 MHz. The Aspire series later replaced the AcerPower series in 2002 and became one of the major Acer series.
