The Coleman Lantern is the line of pressure lights first introduced by Coleman Company in 1914. This led to a series of lights that were originally made to burn kerosene or gasoline. Current models use kerosene, gasoline, Coleman fuel (white gas) or propane and use one or two coats to produce intense white light. Over the years more than 50 million lanterns have been sold worldwide.

History
In 1900, William Coffin Coleman sold high-pressure gasoline-fueled lamps. These lamps, especially Pendant Arc 'Efficient' lamps. 6, made by Irby & amp; Gilliland in Memphis, Tennessee. However, poor sales earned him a patent for the lights and redesigned. He began producing lights in 1903, and in 1914 he introduced Coleman Lantern, a design that incorporates various improvements, such as a bug screen and flat base.
The double-mantle models in various iterations are among the most widespread and produced from 1927 to 1979 (for model 228) or 1983 (for model 220).
