Development

The new Camry was introduced on August 23, 2011 and debuted in the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series on August 27, 2011. The album was released in Japan on September 5, 2011 and in the US in the same month. The interior receives a large restyling, while the exterior accepts new metal sheets and more angled styles. The power options are 2.5 liter 2AR-FE 4-cylinder and 3.5 liter 2GR-FE V6. The power output for 2AR-FE increases to 133 kW (178 hp) across all product lines while the power output for V6 remains unchanged. EPA's fuel economy figures for both engines increased, with V6 engines increasing to 11 L/100 km; 25 mpg -imp (21 mpg -US ) city cycle, 8 L/100 km; 36 mpg -brand (30 mpg -US ) cycle and 4-cylinder toll road has 9Ã, L/100 km; 30 mpg -imp (25 mpg -US ) city cycle and 7 L/100 km; 42 mpg -brand (35 mpg -US ) cycle highway. The engine generates torque of 230Ã, N? M (170Ã, lbf? Ft). Although the exterior dimensions are similar to the Camry XV40, Toyota is able to increase the interior volume by reviving interior panels so that they follow the contours of the exterior panels.

Camry XV50 is the first Camry offered in the US without manual transmission. The US Camry has a 6-speed automatic transmission, with the SE model featuring a paddle shifter for manual shift. CVT is still offered on hybrid models. In Japan, the new Camry is exclusive for the Toyota Corolla Store location.

The 2013 Camry model was released in Japan on September 3, 2012, but was delayed in the US until the end of January 2013 due to a power shortage in Japan caused by the 2011 T-hsu earthquake and tsunami. For the first time, the Japanese Camry market does not use the usual Camry design "used for US and Australian models. Instead, he adopted the design "Camry" or Aurion "prestige" accepted by Southeast Asia and China.
